I can't say enough good things about Maritza! We hired her as our night nurse / postpartum doula a few days a week when our first baby was born, and she was a LIFE saver!
We're both working parents in our early 30s with pretty short leaves, and honestly, we were quite worried about the first few months of parenthood. Maritza came in and gently helped us figure it all out.
What I love most about her is how she supports you. She knew we were brand new to all of this, and she never once pressured us or pushed her own opinions on us. We never felt judged, only supported. She has this wise, gentle way of teaching you, helping you, and being there for you emotionally all at the same time.
We felt comfortable having her in our home and caring for our tiny baby almost immediately. She was with us during the very first week home from the hospital!
She was also available via text whenever we had questions about breastfeeding (she is a lactation consultant too!!), and again when we started introducing bottles. She made it clear she was available whenever we needed her, she was super flexible with her schedule, and she always communicated openly about her availability. On top of all that, she was always on time and never missed a single day.
If you're expecting and want someone who will care for your baby and for you, you truly cannot find anyone better!
