Joy was truly such a blessing to our family, and I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She supported me through the births of both my sons, Zephaniah in 2025 and Miles in 2026, and I am so grateful I had her by my side for both experiences. With my first, my labor moved really quickly. I was overwhelmed by how fast everything was happening and Joy was such a calm, reassuring presence. She helped me focus on my breathing, encouraged me through each moment, and brought a sense of peace when I really needed it. During my second birth, we faced a different challenge because my baby wasn’t moving down as hoped. Joy worked with me through different positions, stretches, and spinning babies techniques to help encourage him to descend. Her knowledge, patience, and encouragement made such a difference, and we were able to get him moving down. Beyond her knowledge and experience, what makes Joy so special is the person she is. She is kind, gentle, positive, and incredibly thoughtful. She brought me food when I needed it, and even went out to get Wendy’s for us after the baby was born. Those little acts of kindness meant so much. Neither of my births included my family being there to support me, but Joy made sure I never felt alone. She even continues to check in on me and my boys, which speaks volumes about the kind of person she is. I will forever be grateful for the care, love, and support she gave us during two of the most important moments of my life. If you’re looking for a doula who will make you feel supported, encouraged, and genuinely cared for, I cannot recommend Joy enough.
