I don’t even know where to begin or how to thank Cami. No amount of thanks can match the help she gave us through our pregnancy, birth, and postpartum journey. When we found out we were pregnant, I knew from the start I needed a doula. We got so lucky finding Cami from a list my health plan provided. I reached out to 5 doulas and Cami's intake forms and website was the most organized. From there, I already knew she was the one. After meeting her for the first time, my husband was so happy and immediately trusted her which is pretty rare because he doesn't trust easily.
Cami is so knowledgeable that I would consider her more than a doula. Her insights are incredibly valuable. In fact, my own doctor didn't think to mention certain options or brands/ clean products, but completely agreed with her recommendations once I brought them up. It makes me wonder "wow what do people do without a doula?!" Cami knows alot of tricks and tips and I really wished I had found her sooner than third trimester. If you are able to hire her from your first trimester, please do so! During birth, she has helped me made decisions that led to a spontaneous vaginal birth which has been my goal from the start. She stayed with us in the hospital for such a long time and so attentive and caring! I was in awe that I have a support like Cami. It was almost unreal. She made us feel at ease and took away our fears. Her coaching during birth helped so much as I was pushing to get my baby out. I'm so grateful that my birthing experience was so peaceful. She is also an experienced lactation specialist and because of her, I didn't give up on breastfeeding when I was about to. She also taught me how to belly bind (bengkung style). I'm 6 weeks post partum and Cami continues to help us.
My family is very impressed as well and I've been recommending Cami to my expecting mom friends and family!
