Our family had Candace as our postpartum doula for the first six weeks of our son’s life, and we truly cannot recommend her enough! If you’re debating whether or not to hire a postpartum doula, DO IT! It was one of the best investments we made for both our mental health and our baby’s wellbeing.
Our son arrived five weeks earlier than expected, and Candace was incredibly flexible and accommodating with her schedule to support us during this unexpected transition. Having her help during those early weeks was so appreciated. Our baby struggled with gas, reflux, etc, and Candace taught us so many helpful tips and tricks that made a world of difference, especially during the nights when we were on our own.
As a lactation consultant, she was also an incredible resource in helping us navigate initial latching difficulties and manage my oversupply. She provided so much knowledge, reassurance, and support during a time when we were figuring everything out as new parents.
We are beyond grateful for Candace and all she did for our family. She made those early weeks feel so much more manageable, and we would recommend her to any new family!!
