My husband and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Hilary! We first attended her birth class, and liked her personality so much that we decided to work with her as a doula. This was my first birth, and my husband and I really wanted to feel less stressed and scared - we agreed afterwards that Hilary made an enormous difference for us! She is so knowledgeable and personable, easy to reach and fun to talk to. In her birth class, I started to actually be interested in labor (and not just think of it as something I had to go through!). Hilary has years of experience and has been to so many births that it really set our minds at ease to have her on our team. My labor progressed very quickly for a first-time mother and Hilary helped us feel calm despite this, gave me lots of great direction in labor that helped me manage pain and push effectively, worked with our medical team at the hospital to both advocate for me and help them take care of me, and has been a wonderful support since our baby's birth.
We could not be more glad we chose to work with Hilary, and I cannot recommend her enough!
