I wanted an unmedicated birth, which was very important to me, and I would never have made it without the Midwest Doula team, especially Justine! I’m French, and it was also wonderful to be able to speak my mother tongue during labor (it made things so much easier). Everyone on the team was positive, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I had several appointments before labor that were incredibly helpful, covering everything from the birth plan and exercises to do during pregnancy to postpartum care. I felt 100% ready. The team was also very responsive to texts and answered every question I had. I never felt judged or uncomfortable at anytime. I had the best birth experience I could have hoped for, and I’ll definitely go back to them if I have a second child. I highly recommend them!
