I was able to have an unmedicated vaginal delivery in July 2026 with the amazing support of Kim! For perspective this was my first baby and I didn't take childbirth classes! From when we met to create my birth plan until now, she has been incredible sharing her wisdom and calm, determined energy. When I started contractions at 2am she was in contact with my husband continuously and came to our home to labor for 6+ hours. Laboring at home with Kim made everything much calmer in a stressful and highly uncomfortable time. She had all the tools to help me like the birth comb (loved!) and birth sling (intense). She stayed calm and positive and so motivating throughout moving me through many positions. She kept me confident I could keep going through stronger and stronger contractions. When we got to the hospital, labor had progressed well and with some more of Kim's support, I delivered my baby girl a few hours later. A total of 20 hours of labor with no medications could not have been possible without Kim. She helped me breastfeed baby girl right away and a few days later when my milk came in she came to my house to help me through the discomfort. I highly recommend every mom have a doula and especially one like Kim!
