As a first-time mom who moved to a new country, I was overwhelmed and lost, and I knew that I wanted a doula who could guide and support me throughout this journey. I interviewed several doulas, and Olha immediately stood out. She is very passionate about what she does, resourceful, and has strong emotional intelligence. Whenever I reached out to her with questions or even to share how I was feeling, she was always responsive and answered with kindness, empathy, and without judgment.
I cannot imagine going through labor without her. I went to the hospital for a non-stress test and unexpectedly ended up staying to be induced. When Olha found out, she came right away. My contractions quickly became very strong, and she accompanied me with each one of them. She created a warm environment, showed me how to breathe, gave me massages, suggested different positions and all of that with a lot of encouragement and empathy. She was tuned in to what I needed and made me feel supported throughout the whole labor.
Even after I gave birth, she continued checking on me and helped me with breastfeeding. Her care went far beyond what I expected, and I will always be grateful for that.
I cannot recommend Olha enough. If you want someone knowledgeable and supportive who genuinely cares about you and treats you like family, she is the person you want by your side during one of the most important moments of your life.
