Having Angela by our side for the birth of our first child was a true privilege, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her as part of our birth story.
Throughout labour, Angela brought such a calming presence to the room. When things were going well, she helped create an environment where we felt supported, reassured, and at ease. When complications arose and our delivery took an unexpected turn, her support became even more invaluable. She helped slow things down, offered thoughtful guidance, and suggested additional options for our medical team to consider. She supported both me and my husband through some incredibly intense moments, helping us feel informed, grounded, and confident when things felt uncertain.
Angela has a heart of gold. She is calm, compassionate, knowledgeable, and has an incredible ability to make you feel confident and capable, even when circumstances are challenging. She stayed by our side through it all, and we truly believe our experience would have been very different without her.
We are filled with immense gratitude for everything Angela did for our family. Birth can be unpredictable, and ours was a bit of a wild ride toward the end, but knowing we had Angela in our corner made all the difference. We cannot recommend her enough to anyone looking for a doula who will genuinely care for you, advocate for you, and support you through whatever your birth story brings.
We also completed Angela and Adele’s the Birth and the Bees preparation course and would give it a 10/10! It was an excellent resource that helped us feel more prepared heading into birth.
