Having Jen as my doula was such an important part of my birth experience. It was so helpful and comforting to have someone who I knew would anticipate and advocate for my needs. She was critical in helping me process through various decisions in pregnancy, and then providing even more support as those decisions had to be re-evaluated and changed. I had a lot of fear around what giving birth would be like and Jen answered all my questions without overwhelming me. It felt so empowering to go into the birthing experience and also breastfeeding experience confidently! I learned so much from Jen and gained shifts in perspective in what I valued overall in my journey to becoming a mother. I highly recommend hiring a doula for your pregnancy/birth no matter what you expect it to be like, and truly think that Jen would be an amazing person to consider!
