Before delivery, we had two prenatal visits, helping me pack my hospital bag, set birth preferences and providing daily exercises, and checking in regularly. When I went past my due date and spent a week waiting for labor to begin, she was a constant source of support and guidance. When I ultimately decided to move forward with an induction, she helped me navigate that process and feel prepared for what was ahead.
She even came to the hospital to help us get settled. When my labor progressed much faster than a typical induction, she somehowyy made it back to the hospital just in time! She worked seamlessly with the hospital staff and was an incredible source of support throughout labor, especially during pushing.
Sabrina’s care didn’t stop after delivery. When she came for our postpartum visit, she helped me feel comfortable and confident in my own instincts. She broke through so many of the stigmas and expectations surrounding what things are “supposed” to look like and made me feel completely comfortable doing what worked best for me and my baby, without judgment.
From the final weeks of pregnancy to labor and those early postpartum days, Sabrina was knowledgeable, proactive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in our experience. I truly cannot imagine having gone through this journey without her. If you’re looking for a doula who will go above and beyond, advocate for you, and make you feel supported every step of the way, look no further. We are so grateful to have had Sabrina by our side as we welcomed our little girl into the world.
