I hired Olha to be my doula for my daughter’s birth in September 2026, and I truly couldn’t imagine going through the experience without her. From our prenatal meetings to labor, delivery, and postpartum, she was gentle, caring, thoughtful, and incredibly helpful.
She helped build my confidence and gave me the strength I needed leading up to birth. I was nervous about how labor would go, and she brought so much comfort throughout the process. I shared my birth preferences with her, and she helped me create a plan with different techniques and coping mechanisms to support me through labor. My goal was to deliver without an epidural, or at least labor as long as possible without one, because I wanted to avoid laboring and delivering on my back.
Once I went into labor, Olha was incredibly supportive and hands-on. She helped me navigate my contractions, stay grounded, and work through each stage. With her help, I made it so much further than I think I would have on my own. She supported me in advocating for myself and the birth I wanted, and we were able to use all the techniques we had discussed. She also made the bath so peaceful and supported me emotionally and physically throughout labor and afterward.
I have a low pain tolerance and tend to panic when overwhelmed, which was one of my biggest fears going into labor. Olha helped keep me calm, grounded, and focused when I needed it most. Every detail felt thoughtful, and I felt genuinely cared for throughout the experience.
I truly enjoyed my birth experience and am so grateful Olha was part of it. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula. Plus, she makes the most delicious home-cooked meals and gives amazing massages! I’m so glad I had her by my side for such an important experience.
