Testimonial for Amber Matusky
Amber's presence in our household during the early weeks and months of our daughter's life is something I look back on very fondly. My wife and I are first time parents and Amber helped us embrace the major transition we were going through as well as empower us to make decisions and take the actions we thought made sense.
On a practical level she was super helpful, both in helping me as a new father learn parenting skills as well as supporting the functioning of our household by cooking delicious food, taking on chores, and supporting my wife in her breastfeeding journey. We always looked forward to the 3 days per week she would come to our house because we knew that the time she spent with us would help us both bond with our new baby and have a few moments to relax, take a step back, and savor the special time we were experiencing as parents of a newborn.
I will also mention that my wife and I don't have any immediate family in the area, so having Amber as this steady presence was truly a blessing in a time of life that can feel especially vulnerable and isolating.
