This was our second time having Melanie as our Doula and we could not imagine going through the process without her. She was especially comforting and reassuring in the days leading up to (and past!) my due date. Melanie was incredible at continuously checking in as my contractions started through early labor and helped us navigate when the right time was for us to go to the hospital. Once we were at the hospital, she was so helpful with applying counter pressure and guiding me to breathe through the contractions, and getting me into positions to set me up for success with delivery. She kept me calm and relaxed and helped me cope throughout the process. Melanie was such a great advocate for me and ensured that my preferences were known and respected. I wholeheartedly recommend Melanie as a Doula - she's very client-centered, a strong advocate, extremely knowledgeable, a great listener, and 100% the person you want in your corner.
