We are so glad we had Kerry as our doula for the birth of our first baby. We had some clashes with our OB during pregnancy, and Kerry was invaluable in helping us understand the recommendations being made, explaining alternatives, and making sure I felt safe and confident advocating for my preferences. She never made us feel rushed and took as much time as we needed to talk through all of our questions.
During delivery, Kerry was wonderful at supporting both of us. She picked up on my husband's anxiety about the baby's heart rate and found a way to redirect his attention and help him stay present rather than spiral into worry. That kind of attentiveness meant so much to us.
Kerry also worked beautifully with our nurses and OB. She was able to advocate for us while maintaining a respectful, collaborative relationship with the medical team. Her support was worth every penny, and we recommend her without hesitation. We don't know yet whether we'll have a second child, but we do know that if we do, we'll hire Kerry again!
