Susannah Glass was the absolute best! Our previous doula was no longer working in the space, but she immediately referred us to Susannah who we hit it off with righ away. We loved her vibe and could tell she was extemely experienced. We also loved that she was very familar with giving birth at Mount Auburn. It really helps if the nurses at the hospital are already comfortable with your doula, so that made a huge difference. From our first meeting with Susannah, she was so attentive, so informative with many new helpful tips for preparing for birth. When my wife's water broke in the middle of the night, Susannah dropped everything to come meet us. My wife always wanted to have a water birth, but everything has to be lined up perfectly for that to happen, and it really started with Susannah's preparation for us to have an unmedicated birth. Once at the hospital, Susannah was incredible - so kind, so pleasant not only to us but to the entire hospital staff. We felt so empowered with Susannah by our side, and she made the room so relaxing and comforting for a beautiful water birth. It was a new kind of birth for us, so having Susannah's experience really helped put us at ease. She truly went out of her way for our family and we couldn't recommend her enough. She really is one of the best doulas in New England, and an investment worth every penny to have her by your side.
