We hired Eliana a few weeks into the third trimester. The initial zoom and in person meetings were really great because she was open to hearing all our concerns and wants for labor and postpartum care. We all had to pivot when our baby stayed breach and a scheduled c-section was decided. She focused on the postpartum visits and the initial few hours after the surgery.
Eliana is a new mom so knowing she just went through all the same stages we were about to experience was super helpful. She's a wealth of information and open to supporting our journey through breast feeding to formula. That first home visit we asked her to clean and vacuum, which was amazing for our sanity. I also loved having someone to talk to about everything, that wasn't a family member.
Each time she came over we would talk for the first hour or so, and then the last time was when I was home alone with baby for the first time. We talked the whole time about various things and we went for a walk around our local park.
Even though our initial labor and delivery plans were scraped I'm so glad we had Eliana postpartum. She's warm, kind, and a great listener. Would recommend her and her service to anyone looking for extra support.
