Having Julie as my doula was one of the best decisions I made for my birth experience. She was incredibly reliable and supportive throughout the weeks leading up to delivery, but she truly went above and beyond on the day of my birth.
She advocated for the birth preferences we had discussed beforehand while also offering her honest, knowledgeable opinions without ever making me feel pressured, judged, or like I had to make a certain choice. She empowered me to make informed decisions based on what was best for my specific situation and was a true supporter of me every step of the way.
Her knowledge and experience were invaluable throughout labor. She helped me progress naturally without any augmentation through different positions, massage, muscular release techniques, and so much more. She was completely locked in the entire time, anticipating what I needed and doing everything she could to help me feel as comfortable and supported as possible. I genuinely don't think I could have done it without her.
Giving birth was the most surreal experience of my life, and having Julie there made such a huge difference. We weren't entirely sure what to expect going into it, but my husband and I can honestly say that we can't imagine going through another birth without her. We will 100% have her present for our future births. She made that much of an impact on both of us, and I couldn't recommend her more highly to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, supportive, and empowering doula.
