Allyssa was meant for birth work.
When she offered to be my doula (not to mention for free and out of the kindness of her heart!) it was an instant YES because I knew her heart and the passion she has for this field. She was always there for me and was genuine about how I was feeling and offered her help in any way she could. Although my birth was not at home like we originally planned, she was there for me in the hospital room right after my c-section. It meant the world to me to have her there supporting me. Even after my first born and she had moved to a different state, she still continued to check in on me and empathize with me during a rough season I was having. Allyssa is just such a down to earth, sweet, genuine human being- someone you absolutely want by your side as a friend and a birth worker. Go Allyssa! So excited for her and what's to come in this next chapter of midwifery. If I lived closer, I would absolutely have her as my midwife. SHES TOO GOOD!
