Zoe's support for the first two months after our son arrived made our lives so much more manageable! The first 2 months were a blur as we adjusted to parenting, but Zoe was a calming presence whenever she was in our home. Her weekly daytime shift gave us a little piece of ourselves back, and when she supported overnights we always felt that our son was in safe hands with her. From midnight spider killing escapades to cleaning up bottles and doing laundry without being asked, she helped us in so many ways.
She provided really helpful advice for bottle-feeding, which I appreciated as a Dad. Bottles were a big unknown for me and she helped simplify it for me at a time when everything felt new. She even brought us a tasty breakfast casserole one of her first shifts with us (I still think about how cheesy it was).
