Lea is the best of the best. She met with us multiple times prebirth to walk through the delivery and teach us birthing positions. She recommended multiple helpful books and resources to help my husband and I prepare. She helped us set up our car seat and explained how to adjust the car seat as our daughter grows. All of her help prebirth helped us feel so prepared and at ease going into the birth. Notably, she also did all this in a way that felt collaborative. I never felt like I was being talked to. I felt like I was being engaged and like she was part of my team. Truly there for me to feel comfortable going into labor.
I originally only wanted my husband at the birth. That changed when we met Lea. I knew she had to be there to help me through the process. She came at every call, checked in constantly and provided vital input. And during the actual birth, she made sure all my wishes were respected and helped me with pushing. She helped my daughter with latching after the birth. I honestly don't think I could have made it through the process without her.
I highly recommend Lea. She is kind, warm, and extremely thoughtful. She was the fairy godmother I needed during the birth process!! Simply put, Lea really is the best and I will have her at any future labors!
