We had such a great experience having Sarah as our doula. My husband and I were first time parents looking for some guidance and experience as I set out to have my dream birth. She is so knowledgeable and gave us so much invaluable information prior to birth. I truly feel like she cares about myself and our little family. Although I had prepped for a natural birth Sarah also suggested making plans just in case things change and I'm so glad we did. I had to get induced at 39 weeks and luckily I was knowledgeable about what that could look like and how I could go about it that still made my birth feel like it was mine. And that was thanks to Sarah. She came to the hospital and set a beautiful vibe in the room with candles and lights, we were there for a couple days so it really made a difference. I felt so empowered, much more than I thought I would, and so much of that was because Sarah helped me so much with my confidence going into birth. It can be so daunting having never experienced giving birth to your child and having a doula, especially having Sarah, made such a positive impact on my journey. Her support even after the birth warmed my heart, she brought over the best nourishing postpartum meals and sat with me while I talked about the birth of my daughter. Even though she was there herself Sarah allowed me the space to relive the best day of my life and it meant so much to me. If you're looking for a doula with knowledge, no judgment, and lots of love I couldn't sing Sarah's praises enough.
