Testimonial for Jean Molot, CD (DONA)
Doula Jean was an amazing addition to my birth team! She has lots of experience as a birth doula to dozens of clients, and I was so happy to be one of them. Jean was very supportive, helpful, and informative. During our prenatal visits, we discussed and finalized a birth plan with suggestions and advice from Jean. She supported all of our preferences while adding her own experience and wisdom.
The couple of weeks leading up to my due date, Jean checked in regularly to ask how I was doing and provided positive messages along the way. She was always a call or text away if I had any questions, and she provided a wealth of knowledge. She is quick to reply and informative with her responses.
When I started having contractions I called Doula Jean, and she talked me through it and supported me. She got to the hospital when I was ready for her and was an excellent support person throughout my labor and delivery. She guided me through the contractions, provided suggestions on movement, and helped me to understand the options when my labor was stalling. She even stayed for a couple hours after delivery until I was moved to my postpartum room.
Additionally, she followed up with me daily the first couple of weeks postpartum to check in and ask if I needed any support, which was appreciated.
Doula Jean is a wonderful birth doula, I highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for one! I wouldn't have had such a great birthing experience without her by my side. If I have another baby, I will be sure to work with her as my doula again!
