We are so incredibly lucky to have had Kiona and Jaya by our side throughout pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. Going through birth for the first time felt extremely daunting, but Kiona and Jaya helped prepare and educate us about the birth and labor process, which really helped ease our anxiety. They were always available to answer any questions we had leading up to the birth and provided great resources every step of the way.
Labor and birth unfolded very differently than we had expected and we would not have been able to get through it without Kiona's support. Throughout a long labor, Kiona showed up in the middle of the night and went above and beyond by staying by my side from start to finish. She helped me through the intensity of painful contractions, guided me through helpful laboring positions, and provided invaluable emotional and physical support as I navigated complications after birth. She also advocated for our wishes to the hospital staff when we were unable to ourselves. We are forever grateful to have had her by our side throughout our journey to welcoming our daughter into the world.
We cannot recommend Kiona and Jaya enough as your doulas. Their support, guidance, and care made such a meaningful difference in our experience.
