From day one, Melanie provided me with books and other informative media, checked in regularly to ensure I was well physically and emotionally, and took the time to get to know me personally so she could make suggestions tailored to my lifestyle and comfort level. Then, when the big day came, she guided me through steps to get me into active labor and anchored me into the process until I held my baby boy in my arms for the very first time. Her grounding presence and coaching helped dissipate all of my doubts, keeping me connected to my body and the beautiful process at hand. I'll never have the right combination of words to thank her for her assistance!
