I cannot sing Caryn's praises enough. She was our doula for two births and made a huge difference. For our first, she made sure we knew what to expect and helped practice the skills we would need during the birth and with our newborn. I wanted a medicated birth, and she was supportive and nonjudgmental. She also made sure I had breathing and counter-pressure techniques, which was great because ultimately my epidural failed. That first birth was traumatic, and having Caryn there for us was crucial. For our second birth, she helped me advocate for what I wanted and needed, ensuring the experience was totally redemptive and healing. After both births, we had follow-up visits that helped me feel super supported in the early days. Caryn is everything I could ask for in a doula, and also just a really cool person--I enjoyed chatting with her during the long hours of early labor. 11/10 would recommend!!
