I can not begin to express how vital Christina was during my birth journey. My husband and I decided to get a doula later in my pregnancy as suggested by our midwife. We interviewed a few women for the role- but Christina’s expertise, calm, down to earth and real demeanor was why we chose her. Her first visit with us was a high level review and crash course on what to expect, but also how to prep for labor… this information was pivotal during my 36 hour labor. I would constantly reference the details back in my head and when I didn’t remember, Christina would remind me ?? Christina also assisted me with after birth and since she is also a lactation consultant, taught me how to use all the pumps I had, how to feed and also assisted me in avoiding mastitis. She also reviewed the baby gear we had and make sure all was compatible and correct for my baby. The vast amount of knowledge that Christina holds is worth every penny. I don’t know how I would have been able to navigate my birth and first week without her!
