Stephanie was an incredible support to both my husband and me throughout our entire birth experience. From prenatal care, she took the time to educate and prepare us, while also really listening to what we wanted for our birth. She made sure we felt informed, confident, and prepared going into labor.
During labor, which was long and difficult, Stephanie was such a calming and consistent presence. She never wavered in her support and helped us navigate each stage with reassurance and compassion. She was also amazing at supporting my husband and helping him become my number one support person. She gave him the tools, encouragement, and confidence to know how to best support me, which meant so much to both of us.
What I appreciated most was how intentional Stephanie was about getting to know us and understanding what mattered to us. She never made the experience feel like a one-size-fits-all approach. She truly took the time to understand our wishes and helped us prepare for the unexpected.
Stephanie also came back postpartum to help with nursing and to give us space to process the labor and birth experience. That continued support meant so much, especially after such a long and challenging delivery.
