I had an exceptional experience having Jocilyn as my doula. From my initial consultation call, to her ongoing support before, during, and after labor, she has been a wealth of knowledge and offered so many resources and so much support as I navigated several unforeseen changes to my birth plan. My original plan for an unmedicated birth changed when I found out Baby was breech. Jocilyn helped me navigate this unexpected change by providing emotional support and resources for flipping baby, including exercises and an ECV specialist.
Jocilyn joined me for my spontaneous birth (c-section) and was truly such a calming and knowldgeable presence. From the middle of the night call and guidance, to hospital support with contractions, Jocilyn was with me through each phase of my labor and delivery. She supported me through early labor, c-section surgery, and early breastfeeding. She also caught the most special pictures that I wouldn't othersie have been able to catch. During post-partum, she has also been hugely supportive. I know I can reach out to her for questions or support, and she's already provided me with many resources I know I can trust.
I know I can go to Jocilyn with any questions big or small, and I have really valued her knowledge and network. Her support through this journey has been extremely valued. I couldn't recommend her more!
