Having Allison’s support during postpartum was truly such a gift. Each session began with a check-in about how things were going and any questions or topics we wanted to focus on. Allison was wonderful about prioritizing what we needed, while also filling in the gaps with things we didn’t even know to ask about.
She has a wealth of knowledge, and my husband and I both learned about nourishing foods, healing after childbirth, signs of postpartum depression to be aware of, breastfeeding and pumping tips, belly binding, baby wearing, sleeping tips, baby bath time and more.
Allison spoiled us by making the most delicious teas, ghee, soups, porridge, kitchari, ginger molasses cookies and more! She wouldn't let me lift a finger while she visited, and it was so nice to relax for a few hours each week; I felt like I could exhale while she was here.
