Scarlett is an incredible birth doula and made a huge difference in my experience during labor. I had a very long and challenging birth, and I don’t know what my partner and I would have done without her! Her knowledge and calm presence were invaluable. My baby was in a suboptimal position for birth, and Scarlett had a vast knowledge of different labor positions to try to shift him and ease the process. Her steady and calm demeanor were incredibly reassuring during difficult moments, and it was so helpful to hear her wisdom when we were faced with decisions for how to proceed during labor. Scarlett’s advice helped us to understand our options, and make the choices that felt right for us with confidence. If I have a second child, I would hire Scarlett again in a heartbeat. She also took some pictures during labor that I am so grateful to have, and she wrote an incredibly detailed birth story afterward! My partner and I were both laughing and tearing up reading it as we remembered small details that we surely would have forgotten without Scarlett’s notes.
