We were recommended Sarah by good friends of ours who had her as their doula for their first pregnancy and delivery, and we are so grateful they connected us!
Sarah was such a wonderful part of our care team throughout pregnancy and those first weeks postpartum. Even though we ended up having a planned C-section for our little breech peach, Sarah was a huge source of knowledge and support throughout, and helped us feel much more prepared for a delivery that looked very different from what we had originally imagined.
She stayed with us on our second night in the hospital when I was recovering from my C-section, and we were very much in the thick of figuring out how to care for a newborn. Having someone there who knew what she was doing, helped with the baby, answered our MANY questions, and gave us reassurance that we were doing a good job made such a difference. I’ll be forever grateful to have had her there with us.
Sarah continued to support us through the first six weeks postpartum and taught us so much during those early days as new parents. She even came over in the early morning so I could get some extra sleep while my partner was away on a work trip, which was such a gift at a time when I really needed it.
Looking back, having Sarah as part of our team was incredibly special. She is knowledgeable, intuitive, calm, and genuinely passionate about what she does. We feel so lucky to have had her in our corner as we navigated becoming new parents. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone looking for a doula.
