I hired Emily after I had my 5th baby. I wanted to be able to truly rest my body and bond with my new baby and I don't have much family support. I am very flexible and wasn't sure exactly what I would be needing or wanting from Emily during the time she was with my family. Emily allowed me to rest and heal with my baby while she filled in for me with ALL my other tasks. She made me feel so supported because I knew that my life wasn't going to fall apart while I stayed in bed with my baby. She was very good at communicating with me to make sure she was doing exactly what I was needing that day/week while also not continuously needing extra guidance - she was proactive when she needed to be. I am a very private person and I also don't leave my baby with many people but having Emily in my home felt so comfortable - she was so knowledgeable and genuine that I felt 100% comfortable with leaving my baby and my older children with her.
My only regret is that I didn't hire her for longer!
