Shannon was an AMAZING birth doula. She gave us so much information up front. I ended up going into labor 2 weeks early and would not have gone to the hospital without her guidance. We had talked pain management methods but I was already 7cm dilated and had an epidural when she arrived. Even without that she was soooo helpful in the delivery room with positions and getting us what we needed for birth! She made the vibe very relaxed and calm and I as someone more reserved and nervous about having someone besides my husband in the delivery room was SO HAPPY to have her. After the birth we were a bit panicked since he was two weeks early and our family's hadn't yet arrived and Shannon's visit was such a light in those days she really helped calm us and get us the resources we needed. Would TOTALLY have her help me with any future births!
