Kimberly is truly the best of the best. I’m convinced that having her with us for labor and delivery was the difference between what could have been a stressful and scary early delivery and what turned out to be an absolutely incredible, beautiful birth. Her calm presence, abundance of experience and knowledge, and proactiveness in speaking up for me and advocating for my birth preferences were unmatched. Having her there allowed my husband and me to stay completely in the moment and just focus on one contraction at a time, knowing that she was paying attention to everything else happening around us. We felt so cared for and safe every step of the way.
She was also invaluable throughout my pregnancy. Our prenatal sessions were incredibly informative and helped us understand so many of the nuances of how the body prepares for and experiences labor. We also attended her Body Ready birth prep class, where we learned different positions and ways to move my body to help baby move down and out. I really believe those techniques played a huge role in making my birth so smooth, and dare I say, easy.
Kimberly made us feel prepared, confident, and cared for from pregnancy through delivery. I’m so grateful that we found her and that she was part of such an important moment in our lives. I cannot imagine having done it without her, and I’m already praying she’ll be available for any future pregnancies.
