Before our baby arrived, Paola’s prenatal classes set my husband and me up for complete success. She helped us prep our home with the right essentials and walked us through what to expect during labor, which significantly reduced our anxiety. Her deep knowledge of both childbirth and postpartum recovery is evident right away.
When active labor started, the moment Paola arrived, I felt an overwhelming wave of relief and safety during the most vulnerable, painful hours of my life. She immediately went into action reading my contractions and providing comfort. When only one support person was permitted during my epidural placement, she stayed by my side because she knew exactly how to support me while my husband waited outside (I was having intense active contractions during epidural proccess). Even the hospital nurses were vocal in praising how amazing and collaborative she was.
Her postpartum support was just as transformative. Every night she came over, my husband and I could rest with complete peace of mind knowing our newborn daughter was safe and in the gentlest hands. Paola cares for her clients and their babies like family. She was a huge reason I had such a positive birth experience and avoided postpartum depression (PPD). Because of her guidance, my husband and I now feel genuinely confident as parents—and she made sure we knew we could still reach out even after our time together ended.
