My wife and I worked with Cami before, during, and after the birth of our first kid, Russell (i.e., hypnobirth class, birth doula, postpartum doula). We loved working with Cami and have recommended her to family already. She's very knowledgeable, skilled, caring, and high IQ AND EQ.
The hynobirth class she led was great. We were not model hypnobirthers (e.g., did not do all the "homework"), but we learned skills that came in very handy during the birth. Plus, the class comprehensively covers the basics on pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
For the birth, we wanted support and help navigating all the choices pre- and during birth. Cami struck a fabulous balance of offering insights, framing choices, and providing her recommendation, without being too forceful. Admittedly, we were nervous to share the birth experience with another person - there's a lot of uncertainty with birth, and bringing in another variable (i.e., a birth doula) felt risky. But, Cami navigated the birth fabulously. Again, she's high IQ and EQ, so she was subtle and softely spoken when we needed, and she cleverly picked up on areas where we needed help being more assertive. In general, she's very respectful of the medical professionals - and, even better, she helped us understand their perspective so we could better communicate / work with them.
Postpartum, we were very glad to have Cami's help. She was an amazing partner to my wife for working on breastfeeding. Shes a fabulous cook. And, we loved having the sessions for the first ~month, so we had another expert (outside of our pediatrician) to bounce questions off of as they came up.
