When I went into labor, Dawn was on call with us throughout and truly shone in the delivery room; her calm, reassuring presence immediately made us feel more confident and supported. She acted as a translator between us and the medical team, suggesting positions and techniques, making sure our questions and needs were heard, and even paging the doctor herself when I started feeling the need to push. She was an incredible advocate for me personally, especially when I began doubting whether I could continue without an epidural; she gave me the belief that I could keep going without and ultimately have the birth experience I wanted.
