Amber was essential during my birth experience. My husband and I do not have lots of friends and family with small children so we weren't sure what to expect and knew we needed guidance and experience to help us navigate the labor experience. When I met Amber, I knew that I would be supported by her. Amber was a wonderful thought partner as we created our Birth Plan and gave us scientific evidence to guide our decision making. She was easy to reach throughout my pregnancy. As I started to go into labor, she was a sounding board about when to go to the hospital and met us at the hospital when we were ready for her. Throughout my labor she was a seamless part tyof my care team and supported both me and my husband. As nurses and doctors came and went during the hours I was at the hospital, Amber was a constant presence. When things didn't go as planned, she helped us navigate in the moment decisions to ensure that me and baby had the optimal outcomes. We could not have done this without her! Amber is truly experienced, caring, and passionate about her birth work.
