She taught us comfort measures with rebozo and provided hands-on bodywork throughout my long labor to ease the discomfort, staying up through the night to make sure I had everything I needed to feel safe, comfortable, and heard.
She was there when I delivered my baby, and I couldn't have asked for a more comforting presence through one of the most intense experiences of my life. Beyond labor and delivery, she also visited afterward to check in on our new family.
