Sarah helped to make our dream birthing experience a reality and we couldn't be more grateful. After navigating infertility and feeling very anxious about the birth of our firstborn, we knew we wanted the support of a doula for our big day. We initially reached out to Sarah because of her vast experience and lactation expertise. After connecting via a consultation, we knew Sarah was the right fit for us due to her sense of humor, open mindedness, and willingness to answer all of our questions. Throughout our relationship, Sarah provided endless support by checking in via text and truly caring about my pregnancy and our son's health along the way. For our big day, I was induced and Sarah helped to explain the process, calm our nerves, create a cozy and calm environment, and consistently advocated for us and our wishes along the way. While I was in labor, Sarah not only helped to move me into helpful positions to help labor progress, but also helped my husband to feel involved by providing ways for him to help support me and help me through the pain. She was not only a huge support for me, but also for my husband too which was important to both of us. Throughout the labor experience, Sarah was a positive presence who provided calm energy and a stable support for both of us - even when it meant spending the night in the hospital and being that support during a very long labor. During the pushing stage, Sarah stepped up to create the ideal experience for me by turning on my playlist, helping the medical staff, and involving my husband as much as possible. She even took the initiative to take photos and videos for us to later look back on which helped us to relieve the magic afterwards. I'd highly recommend working with Sarah because she helps to make sure as much of your birth plan and ideal experience can come true (barring any medical complications) while also remaining a fun and supportive presence along the way!
