I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with Maida. She was there every step of the way through my labour, bringing with her so much knowledge, encouragement, grace, and compassion.
Her presence made me feel supported, capable, and never alone. She knew when to offer guidance, when to simply be present, and somehow always seemed to know exactly what I needed in the moment. I honestly don’t know how I would have done it without her.
What made the experience even more special was that she never felt like someone we had hired — she felt like a friend who genuinely cared about us and our baby. I felt so incredibly honoured to have her be part of such a deeply important and transformative moment in our lives.
