Having Ellen’s support, care, and guidance while I prepped for my birth, during delivery, and in postpartum was absolutely incredible. She is steady, kind, calming, grounding, super knowledgeable, and never judgmental. As we prepared for my Son’s birth, Ellen provided lots of helpful resources and helped me parse through the sometimes overwhelming amount of information on how to prepare for a birth. During birth having Ellen as a support person was so helpful. She helped me work through a challenging labor, stay comfortable, grounded, positive, and strong. She also brought a whole set of tools to help me relax and stay comfortable which the hospital did not have and made a huge difference! I can’t imagine how different my labor experience would have been without her! Her post partum support was also fantastic, and she helped bill insurance smoothly and easily. If you are looking for a doula in the Willamette Valley area, I cannot recommend Ellen highly enough.
