Jill was an exceptional doula/night nurse for us! She had incredible experience and came the first week, just in time to help us learn a bunch of techniques to keep Baby Jack comfortable. Jack suffered from gas and her baby massage techniques were helpful and implementing them wasn't hard. She arrived with breastfeeding protein balls and a pee-pee tent. She had such a kind, loving demeanor. We immediately loved her. We originally had scheduled her for 2x/week, but Jack was an easy baby so she was flexible on scheduling as-needed, which helped us maximize our value. She was Diligent about recording everything and adherent to Jack's minimal medication schedule. She alleviated so much stress in the early days by handling the changing & burping, which are actually the longest part of feeding time. Jill has strong intuition and was great at extending Jack's time between feedings, so I could get a few extra minutes or an extra hour of sleep. She brought all her own gear, was unintrisive, although we told her to enjoy free reign of the house while she was with us. She also used the downtime to help us with folding laundry which actually really piles up with a new baby. We are so grateful for her love and help during this exciting & tiring time for our family.
