She not only has extensive knowledge in intervention-free birthing strategies , she is also a family medicine doctor in the UK. Harriet has extensive knowledge of drug free pain relief using breath work strategies such as box breathing which helped me get through my contractions one box at a time. Harriet is able to support the natural birth process without any use of medical interventions, but she also can recognize medical risks/wmergencies far better than a non-medically trained birth doula. Knowing she had a balance of both holistic and medical expertise, I felt incredibly fortunate to have her in my corner during one of the most pivotal times in my life.
