?As a first-time mom, I wasn’t sure if we needed a postpartum doula or how useful one would actually be. But having Ryoko support us for our son’s first four weeks completely changed my mind. I truly cannot recommend her enough!
?First off, her breastfeeding knowledge is unmatched. She met us in our home the day we came home from the hospital and helped us get breastfeeding figured out right away. As our baby grew and his needs changed, she was so quick with advice on how to adapt—whether that meant switching up positions, helping with a tricky latch, or making sure I was physically comfortable while feeding him It made the whole process feel so smooth and stress-free during a time that can otherwise be pretty overwhelming.
?We had her for overnight support, and she was incredible at following his cues. Honestly, he seemed to cry way less with her than he does when we’re watching him ourselves. She has an ability to anticipate a baby's needs before they start crying, which meant we could actually get the sleep we so desperately needed.
?On top of all that, she’s very professional and a pleasure to work with. Her communication is timely, and she was flexible with scheduling when our needs shifted. She also provided detailed invoices and worked really seamlessly with my insurance, which took so much mental load off my plate.
