I took two of her birth workshops and attended one of her Dance for Birth belly dancing classes—both of which made a huge difference. Thanks to her guidance, my birthing experience couldn't have been more positive, and my postpartum recovery was smoother than I ever expected.
Junko is gentle, understanding, non-judgmental, flexible, and deeply accommodating. She truly respects the magnitude of bringing a new life into the world and understands the unique dynamics of different family situations and how they evolve. Whenever I asked, she had wonderful recommendations and referrals ready, from chiropractic care to pelvic floor therapy. On top of that, she was able to work with my insurance to help secure a partial reimbursement, which made the whole experience seamless.
I also used her meal preparation service, which was amazing. She came right to my house and prepared delicious, nutritious meals and snacks for the freezer, which came in handy both during my pregnancy and after the baby arrived.
As a lactation educator, she provided invaluable tips, clear guidelines, and so much reassurance with breastfeeding. During postpartum, I especially loved her belly binding and yoni sauna services!
