Hailey was absolutely amazing as my doula. This was my third baby, but my first time using a doula, and I only wish I’d had her for my first two! Initially, I wasn’t sure if I really needed a doula as a third-time mom, but I was so wrong. Hailey provided so much education and support throughout my pregnancy, and I learned so much from her (even as an avid Google).
It was my first time experiencing prodromal/false labor, and I’m so glad I had Hailey in my corner. She reassured me that everything I was feeling was completely normal and gave me specific stretches and movements that helped get baby into position. During early labor, she helped me identify the signs that my body was prepping. Since it had been three years since my last pregnancy, having her there to quickly explain what was happening brought so much peace of mind.
During labor itself, she was an absolute gem. I unfortunately didn’t have the best labor nurse, but Hailey stepped up to advocate for me and guided me through pain-relief exercises when my epidural failed.
Hailey was such a blessing to our family, and I would recommend her to anyone. She is friendly, approachable, and advocates for you like no other. I felt supported by her every step of the way!
