I honestly don’t even know where to begin when it comes to Steph, because I truly don’t know how my husband and I would have gotten through the birth of our second daughter without her.
Steph was our rock, our strongest advocate, and a constant source of calm and reassurance throughout our entire 16 hour hospital stay. She spoke up for me when I needed her to, anticipated my needs before I even knew what they were, and made me feel supported, heard, and empowered every step of the way.
Steph is truly incredible and the most amazing doula I could have ever dreamed of. She is unbelievably knowledgeable, deeply compassionate, and the very definition of what an exceptional birth partner should be. Her presence brought a sense of confidence and comfort to an experience that was both incredibly intense and profoundly meaningful.
One of the things I appreciated most was the way she supported my husband, too. From the very beginning, Steph made it clear that she wasn’t only there for me, she was there to support and advocate for him as well. She made sure he felt included, informed, and confident in how he could best support me throughout the entire birth process. That meant more to both of us than I can put into words.
I truly don’t know if I would have had my dream VBAC without Steph by my side and for that I will be eternally grateful. She helped me feel strong, capable, and empowered during one of the most transformative moments of my life.
Steph, you are an absolute rockstar. I feel incredibly honoured and grateful that you were there to support us through one of the most incredible and unforgettable moments of our lives. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts for everything you did for our family. We will never forget it. ??
