I personally had a difficult experience with her. I developed mastitis twice, and I didn’t feel that the advice I received was very helpful for my situation. Also, as a PPD, I felt that she became a little too involved in areas outside of lactation support.
I know she came to your house and offered to work with you as a lactation consultant and also as a postpartum doula during the day, but I would definitely do some research before deciding to work with her. I can only speak from my own experience, but personally, I didn’t feel that she was the right fit for me as either an IBCLC or a PPD.
